This page is intended to help users wishing to transfer files to Northcoast Color via FTP (File Transfer Protocol).

This service allows you and Northcoast to share files through a shared online folder.

Why FTP?
Although standard email allows the transfer of files (attachments), sending a large file via email has a number of drawbacks. The email may never arrive at its destination, or it may take a long time to do so. This is not uncommon behavior and is due to the nature of how email works. For these reasons Northcoast Color has another method of receiving files, - FTP.

Instructions
The list below outlines the steps to follow in order to send a file to Northcoast Color via FTP. If at any stage you get stuck please contact us for further assistance:

• You must use a FTP program - Internet Browsers will not work. We recommend the programs listed to the right.

• You must have a username and password assigned and given to you by Northcoast Color. (Contact us if you do not)

• After you have installed and started your FTP program, open a new connection and enter in the following information.

• Our FTP Address = ftp.northcoastcolor.com

• Your User name = (supplied by Northcoast)

• Your Password (case-sensitive) = (supplied by Northcoast)

• You must collect all needed files into one folder and compress it (Please Stuff or Zip) before upload!!!

• Please remember after you upload your files - email production@northcoastcolor.com to let us know the art files have been uploaded.
